First 48 hours
- Follow a strict “white diet.”
- Avoid berries, coffee, black tea, red wine, colored soda, beetroot, carrots, bright sauces, and other staining foods.
- Coffee may be acceptable only with plenty of milk and preferably through a straw.
What else to avoid
- Avoid very hot, icy, and highly acidic foods and drinks.
- Try to avoid bright lipstick coming into contact with your teeth.
How to maintain the result
- For home care, the clinic leaflet suggests toothpastes such as Swiss Smile or Marvis Whitening Mint.
- Professional hygiene is recommended in 6 months.
If sensitivity appears
- Pain relief can be used if approved by your doctor.
- Desensitizing products such as Apadent Sensitive or GC Tooth Mousse may help.
- A tray with sensitivity-relief gel for 30 minutes and warm water held in the mouth may also reduce discomfort.
- If pain lasts longer than 3 days, contact the clinic.
