What matters right after treatment
- Do not chew on the treated tooth until it is securely covered with a permanent ceramic restoration.
- Avoid warming procedures such as hot food, sauna, bath, and hot showers for 3 days.
Follow-up and observation
- The tooth should be monitored after 6, 12, and 24 months, and then for up to 5 years.
- Follow-up X-rays help assess bone healing and detect inflammation, granulomas, or cysts in time.
Pain and discomfort
- Discomfort or pain may occur after treatment. On average, it lasts 7 to 14 days and should gradually decrease.
- If swelling increases, contact your doctor. Use pain medication only as recommended by your clinician.
