- A small amount of bleeding during the first hours may be normal.
- On days 3 to 4 after surgery, a predictable soft-tissue swelling may appear, and bruising is possible.
If a sinus lift was performed

- Do not drink through a straw and avoid pressure or temperature changes. Flights are contraindicated for 14 days.
- A small amount of blood-tinged discharge from the nose may occur during the first 2 days.
Hygiene
- Do not touch the sutures or implants with your hands or tongue.
- For the first 3 to 4 days, use mouth baths with 0.05% chlorhexidine or Miramistin, then continue with very gentle rinsing.
- After rinsing, Solcoseryl may be applied to the wound if recommended by your doctor.
- Brush your teeth from the next day twice daily with a minimal amount of toothpaste, avoiding the wound area. Soft or ultra-soft bristles are preferred.
