Right after the procedure
- Avoid food for 1 to 2 hours.
- Avoid staining foods and drinks for 24 hours.
- Do not give the child very sour, spicy, or very hot food.
If there is sensitivity or gum bleeding
- Rinses or mouth baths with antiseptic solutions such as Miramistin may be used.
- The clinic leaflet also mentions therapeutic gum gels such as Kamistad or Solcoseryl dental adhesive.
Home care
- It is recommended to replace the old toothbrush with a new one.
- A follow-up dental visit is recommended in 5 to 6 months.
